Rebuild Duo-Art Rotary Pump Motor?
By Ed Chaban

Can someone recommend a shop to rebuild a Duo-Art Rotary Pump Motor somewhere in the San Francisco Area? Mine occasionally stalls when I turn it on. If I turn the shaft after I power it on, it works just fine. New brushes maybe? Reblitz mentions something about cleaning the starter switch contacts for the starter winding. Anyone know where it is located on the motor? I rebuilt the Duo-Art Mechanism itself so I'm pretty handy with tools or is this better left to an expert?

BTW, This is a 1927 Stroud Upright

Thanks!

-Ed
