SongWright Music Editor
By Stephen Kent Goodman
Yes, I used SongWright to produce both notated music for sale as well as midi files I sent you, which are hopefully in use somewhere in Europe by now. It is a clunky program, and I am in the process of learning Finale.
BTW, in the mid 1970's, Brian McLaughlin and myself developed a system based upon the system commissioned by G.W.MacKinnon (who took over the Hathaway & Bowers operation in Santa Fe Springs) that was quite revolutionary and integrated not only low voltage (3 v D.C.) pipe organ solenoids, 12 v d.c. reisners (which I also used for vacuum valve signaling), but old-style 120 V A.C. Maas-Rowe carillon striker solenoids. Remind me to send you a videotape of my "sound sculptures", featured in many gallery shows and on national TV.
BTW; missed you in Fresno at the Rag Fest- found some great ragtime 88-note rolls.
Whats the haps with the numbers I sent you? Any action from the band organ department?
