Introduction
By Jason Klinger

Good afternoon all fellow collectors. My name is Jason Klinger and, as I've been told, I am the youngest musical collector currently subscribed to this group. ( 18yrs ) I have been collecting for only 3 years, but I must say it is an honor and a pleasure to be associated with such people and hobbies.

I am interested in anything that makes music, whether it's a Hupfeld or an old fry-pan... if it makes music, I LOVE IT !!!! My current interest is in player organs of any type. I have recently seen a Wilcox and White Angelus at Dan Wilke's house in Buffalo. ( QRS Auction coordinator ) I thought it to be so pretty that I had to have one. SO right now I am in the process of adding an 88-note player action to my pump organ.

My collection consists of many forms of entertainment. It's not much compared to the local collections which I've seen, but it's pretty good for and 18 year old. Most of the objects in my collection have been rebuilt by me with the help of Art Reblitz's rebuilding book.

    - 1911 Lindeman & Sons 65/88 note player piano. ( superb tone )
    - 1921 Schaff Bros. 88-note player piano
    - 1919 Lexington ( Halett & Davis ) 88-note player piano
    - 1917 Cable-Nelson Dulciton 88-note player piano
    - 1885 Clough & Warren pump organ. ( unusual scale length ...  longer
than I usually see ) Soon to be a player.
    - 1914 Victor XI Victrola w/ Exhibition sound-box and a bunch of 78's
    - 1960's Kimball player organ. ( bought from the QRS lunchroom )
    - a Pianolodeon. ( still needs work )... looking for rolls. I have only one.
    - an early 20's or 30's Jennings & Co. 5-cent slot machine ( exact year
      unknown )
    - 2 1940's radios.
    - roughly 1,860 piano rolls. Not just 88-note, but many 65-note and other
odd scales, ( Apollo 88-note, 15 in. wide , and an Aeolian grand )
      Recordo rolls, Duo-Art's, Welte's, Apollo's, Ampico's and Themodist.
Nothing really that great, but strange things I don't need.

I wish I could add more to the list, but it's quite a costly hobby. Maybe someday I'll be the next Jasper Sanfilippo.   YEAH RIGHT !!!!!!

                                                                Your friend,

                                                                Jason Klinger
