[ RAGTIME MIDI FILES
[
[ These midi files were provided by kind souls who have graciously given
[ me permission to use them here. If you want to download one of these
[ files, your web browser should recognize that these are ".zip" files
[ and prompt for a filename to save it as. If it doesn't, then be sure
[ your web browser is set up so that by default it will prompt you for a
[ file name to save it to when you click on the name of the piece. These
[ files were "zipped" with "zip", so you should save them as ".zip"
[ files and then you should be able to use any "unzip" program to
[ retrieve the midi file. You can also check out the cool sheet music
[ covers created by John Cowles that go with some of these pieces.
[
[ For hard-core ragtime fans, a zipped file of all the midi files is
[ available. Songs marked as "new" are less than a week old.
[
[ If you are having problems with any of the midi files, please read
[ this midi compatibility FAQ that Warren Trachtman sent me.
