Templates with words

That would be me. The program was limited. It was designed only for 88 note rolls and was before I had ever heard of MIDI. Instead, it read an ASCII data file containing info on note, duration, and lyric. The program, running in Rexx on an IBM mainframe, would read the ASCII data file then output the binary info to drive an Epson 9 pin printer. It would print edge lines, the holes, and lyrics over on the right side. The edge lines were there so I could judge if the roll paper was getting skewed in the printer.

If anyone is interested in the Rexx source code (if you can understand BASIC, you can understand REXX), drop me an e-mail.
