Terry provided the original list of addresses that started this mailing list. The list has grown substantially since it was started. Some of you who were on the original list may have seen the list Terry sent me. I did not create the original list and have no control of what is done with it. Since I've not asked each and every one of you whether it is OK to "reveal" that you receve the list, Terry's request, and especially its timing, is somewhat awkward. I cannot (yet) provide him the information he wants. Clearly the addresses of those who have posted to the group could be extracted from archives. I've not kept track of who has posted so I'm reluctant to generate that list.
I do, however, think that making our names, e-mail addresses, and relevant association membership status available may bring additional interesting personal correspondence. It will also probably bring a little "junk mail", although unsolicited "junk mail" is still sufficiently discouraged on the Internet that I get very little, and my e-mail address has been published in at least a half dozen computer conference attendee lists.
In order to know what information about you I can provide if asked I'm enclosing a short survey. I will compile the survey into the information that my mail server will use to answer queries. I will do my best to do it right. My apologies in advance for any typographical errors!
Jody
