Williams Wynn chamber organ
By Brian Chesters
In reply regarding the Williams Wynn chamber organ. I would assume that you Americans would call it a residence organ as it is a permanent fixture. Is is not a barrel or player organ but a 'finger organ' only. I assume also that it is important because it was designed by Robert Adam but apart from that I am as ignorant as every one else. I cant imagine why it reached a quarter of a million pounds and more.
For sale. Polyphon style 41r. (Bowers book p.147 top left) Good condition in sepentine case with 12 discs. Price 850 pounds plus shipping costs or free delivery in UK. Brian Chesters. ------------------------------------------------- Brian Chesters
