[ Dean Randall asked, "Can any of the nickelodeon experts on
[ this list tell me what note the first _plain wire_ string is?"
In the Seeburg Lilliputian L version, there is only 54 playing notes,
whereas in most A-roll pianos, you have 58 playing notes.
The lowest note is a B, not an A#, and there are five treble notes
missing in this scale, also. (The other Seeburg with this same scale
"L" is the Greyhound race piano).
The way Seeburg arranged the tracker bar was to octave couple the low B
an octave up, playing them both. The last five notes are then octave
coupled down on the trackerbar and the roll plays the missing five high
notes an octave lower, as well as its regular notes.
