Hi gang, Lots of odds and ends to cover in this posting, okay?
[ I split your long letter into topical pieces, Rick, so that it
[ can be indexed in the MMD Archives. And then, when the buyers
[ reply to you, the subject will be correct! :-) -- Robbie
The Blessing Robot Band has finally arrived and is absolutely amazing.
For current members of the MBSI, the attached picture (to hopefully
replace an earlier one posted by Robbie on the web page) will appear on
the cover of the April issue of the MBSI Technical Journal.
A complete history and "saga" of its acquisition as well as a ton of
technical detail will be included "under the cover". Check it out; it
promises to be "fun" reading.
At the urging of Robbie, Jody and other members of the MMD, a one-hour
professional videotape will be produced of the Robot Band in action.
With five hours of new music to choose from, it may be difficult to
hold it to one hour. The first copy goes (complimentary, of course) to
the staff of MMD who have shown much interest in this one-of-a-kind
antique version of Disney's Animatronics. For a personal viewing of
the Robot Band in action, plan to attend the 1999 Annual MBSI Meeting
in Philadelphia and take the terrific home tours that will be
available.
Regards,
Rick and Betty Cooley, Hockessin, Delaware 19707
[ Thanks for the present, Rick. The motions are sure to
[ be as entertaining as Steve Goodman's music arrangements!
