Lauter-Humana Player Piano
By Peter Coggins

The only info I have seen on Lauter-Humana players is from the Player
Action Identification book by the Player Piano Co. which says it has a
unique (hard to fix?) air motor. It has six giant pouches which sink
into a cavity which are joined to the crankshaft.

The stack sounds easy though as it has unit valves secured by two screws
in three rows, but very early models had four rows. So at least the
stack sounds OK to restore. Don't know about the quality of the piano
itself though.

Peter.
